Oliver Skagerlind

Oliver Skagerlind is the Group Chief Technology Officer at Dubai Holding. He brings over 25 years of experience in digital strategy, enterprise technology and operational transformation across real estate, financial services and government-backed sectors.
Prior to joining Dubai Holding, Oliver served as Group Chief Digital and Information Officer at DAMAC Group, where he led all technology and digital transformation initiatives across DAMAC’s diverse business entities. He was responsible for enabling enterprise-grade data assets, advancing AI-driven business opportunities and creating scalable, secure digital infrastructure.
Oliver has also held senior roles including Interim Group Chief Information Officer at Canary Wharf Group, where he repositioned IT as a strategic enabler and drove substantial value from technology-led changes. At Cushman & Wakefield, he served as Global Chief Information Officer and Global Head of Technology Sales, leading the region’s technology transformation agenda and aligning global strategy with business needs.
His earlier roles include Chief Information Officer at NHS Property Services, where he led the digital transformation of the UK’s largest government property owner, and technology positions at Royal Bank of Scotland Group, Carphone Warehouse Group, Centrica and American Express.
Oliver was awarded a nomination in the top 100 CIO lists, where he served as the youngest Group Chief Information Officer in the FTSE 250 for over three years.
