Supplier Code of Conduct
A sustainable supply chain is essential to our business resilience and long-term value creation. At Dubai Holding, we are committed to responsible sourcing and require all suppliers to adhere to our Supplier Code of Conduct, which outlines key social, environmental and ethical standards. By fostering strong partnerships with vendors and suppliers, we enhance transparency, monitor our environmental footprint and use innovative tools to track carbon emissions, water usage and waste generation.
Supplier Sustainability Assessments
We are committed to building a sustainable supply chain by collaborating with suppliers to uphold the highest ethical and operational standards. Using EcoVadis, a global leader in sustainability ratings, we assessed 224 suppliers in 2023 and 2024. By identifying areas for improvement, we continue to drive positive change, fostering transparency and advancing responsible sourcing across our value chain.
Supplier Engagement Forum
In August 2024, Dubai Holding hosted its first Supplier Engagement Forum, bringing together 18 suppliers, Group companies and industry experts to promote sustainable sourcing in the food and beverage sector. The event featured panel discussions, keynotes and recognition of Barakat, Dibba Bay and FBMI for their sustainability contributions. Dubai Holding also increased procurement spend with women-owned and local suppliers by 14%, reinforcing its commitment to diversity and sustainability.
Transparency in seafood sourcing
Jumeirah has partnered with Seafood Souq to enhance seafood supply chain transparency. Using the Seafood Souq Trace platform, Jumeirah tracks seafood from catch to plate, ensuring ethical sourcing and sustainability. This partnership supports sustainable fisheries while fostering awareness and accountability among diners through customer-facing dashboards across its operations.
