Chief Executive Officer, Jumeirah

Thomas B. Meier is the Chief Executive Officer of Jumeirah, having joined the company as Chief Operating Officer in October 2021.

A graduate of the École Hôtelière de Lausanne, Thomas has held several senior leadership roles including Regional Vice President of Asia and General Manager of Raffles Hotels & Resorts in Singapore, where he led operations across key markets including Singapore, China and Cambodia, and oversaw the opening of Raffles' first property in China.

He also served as Vice President of Global Operations for Raffles, managing a diverse international portfolio spanning the US, Caribbean, Europe, Middle East and Asia. He later served as Vice President of Hotel Openings and Integration for FRHI Hotels & Resorts, responsible for hotel openings and integrations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific and China, leading the development and execution of business processes for all three FRHI brands.

Prior to joining Jumeirah, Thomas was Senior Vice President of Operations in Asia at MINOR Hotels, where he led cross-functional teams and managed a broad portfolio of owned and managed properties.

Thomas brings extensive operational and leadership experience across multiple markets. His global responsibilities have spanned business performance, acquisitions, owner relations and transformational initiatives across all aspects of hotel operations, development and systems integration. As Chief Executive Officer of Jumeirah, Thomas plays a central role in advancing Jumeirah's vision to become the world's most influential hospitality brand, with a strong focus on operational excellence across its global portfolio.
