Dubai, UAE, 14 October 2026 – The wait is finally over. Global Village, the region’s premier multicultural family destination for entertainment, dining, shopping and attractions, opens its doors today at 6:00PM, welcoming guests to ‘A More Wonderful World’ for Season 31. The new season brings familiar tastes, much-loved traditions and evenings spent exploring with family and friends, the experiences that make every season feel like coming home.

Over the past 30 seasons, Global Village has brought people and cultures together, becoming a meeting place for communities and a much-loved tradition shared across generations. Season 31 builds on this, inviting guests to reconnect with the flavours and customs of home, discover cultures and enjoy the moments that bring everyone closer. New experiences join returning favourites in a place where every culture is welcomed and every generation belongs.

Running until May 2027, Season 31 features 29 pavilions representing more than 90 cultures, with over 3,500 shopping outlets offering products from across the world. With more than 250 dining options, 40,000 shows and over 200 attractions, families and friends can enjoy much-loved experiences while discovering something new together.

Familiar traditions, new discoveries

Season 31 introduces refreshed experiences at the Sri Lanka pavilion and the Russia and Azerbaijan pavilion, while the Syria and Kuwait pavilions welcome guests with renewed façades. A redesigned Season 31 Passport and a new Kids Passport invite guests to collect stamps across the pavilions, giving families another way to explore together and a keepsake of their visit.

One of the things guests look forward to most at Global Village is returning for a favourite dish. Each season brings the chance to revisit much-loved food spots and try something new, from the latest food trends to flavours from around the world. With international street food, sit-down restaurants and cafés to choose from, there’s plenty to enjoy over a meal with family and friends.

Restaurant Plaza, located next to Carnaval® and overlooking the Falcon Stage, brings dining and live entertainment together, offering a setting to gather over a meal and enjoy the atmosphere.

This season’s additions include Trabzon Turkish Restaurant and new Restaurant Plaza concepts Robo Al Sham, Hawawshi Al Rabie and Chicking. New cafés Vinci Dolci, Emir Bey Gourmet and Uzungol Café offer more places to pause and catch up, while Dessert District returns with a refreshed façade for those looking to round off their evening with something sweet.

Thrilling attractions

Global Village offers more than 200 attractions for families, children and thrill-seekers, including rides and games at Carnaval®. Dragon Kingdom, Horror Hotel, Secrets of the Lost City and Exo Planet City return for Season 31, while the Festival Wheel returns with refreshed carts, offering views across Global Village.

Later in the season, Tokyo Rush will join the lineup, bringing a new roller coaster experience featuring sharp turns, high-speed action and a thrilling loop. Guests can also enjoy a stroll through the refreshed Gardens of the World and stop for a family photograph along the way.

Entertainment

Throughout the season, 40,000 shows will bring music, dance, acrobatics and live performances to Global Village, with plenty for families and friends to enjoy together. Fast Live 2: The Police Strikes Back debuts as the destination’s new stunt show, featuring daring stunts and high-energy action.

New productions, Bollywood Idol and Bank Heist, join returning favourite Slam, offering a mix of musical storytelling and acrobatic performances. Younger guests can once again enjoy appearances by beloved characters from Care Bears and PJ Masks at the Kids Theatre, adding another highlight to their family visit.

Enhanced guest services

Alongside this season’s experiences, improvements to parking, wayfinding and guest facilities will help make visits more convenient. A new VIP parking self-payment system, enhanced directional signage and expanded ticketing capacity at Happiness Gate will support smoother arrivals and departures. More family washrooms with accessible facilities for People of Determination have also been added.

New bilingual signage at Gate of the World, refreshed lighting at Cultural Gate and a new theme for the Sharjah tunnel further enhance navigation and the arrival experience. A new WhatsApp chatbot will provide convenient access to information and support throughout each visit.

Following today’s opening at 6:00PM, Global Village will operate from 4:00PM to midnight from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 4:00PM to 1:00AM from Thursday to Saturday and on public holidays.

Tickets are now available for purchase through the Global Village website, app and ticketing gates at all entrances. Prices start from AED 25 for weekday visits from Monday to Thursday (excluding public holidays), and AED 30 for visits on weekends, from Friday to Sunday, and on public holidays. Tuesdays are reserved for families and ladies, except on public holidays.
