Enpark Hosts Roundtable on Renewable and Sustainable Development

DUBAI: 11 November, 2008 – The Energy and Environment Park (ENPARK), a sustainable community model for commercial and residential use and a member of TECOM Business Parks, hosted a roundtable on TECOM Investments’ new initiatives in sustainable development.
Led by Ali Bin Towaih, Executive Director of Enpark, the event was attended by local and international dignitaries representing companies specializing in the use of renewable and sustainable technologies.
The delegates discussed TECOM’s strategy for ensuring that all its existing and new buildings remain eco-friendly. The panelists further analysed the feasibility of recent advances in sustainable and renewable development technologies and their impact on society.
Enpark was recently honoured at the 2008 Alternative Energy Awards in the ‘Company of the Year’ category for its role in raising awareness about sustainability concepts in the region.
