Health, Safety and Environment

Dubai Holding has developed a strategy that continuously measures Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance at all levels within the group.

We measure HSE performance against international standards. All operations as small as office environment and as large as construction sites are assessed using highly qualified HSE assessors. The measurement technique is based on practical implementation of local legislation and international standards.

HSE Council

We have mandated the HSE council to provide the strategic direction and make recommendations to the Executive committee. The council is chaired by the Dubai Holding Group Director Business Excellence and HSE specialists from our companies.

Construction Risk management (CRM)

The HSE council has introduced a CRM matrix to assess the HSE performance at construction sites. Assessments are conducted by a highly qualified team of external and internal HSE assessors.

Office Environment Audits

We carry out regular HSE audits of all our office environments. All Dubai Holding business units undergo HSE audits. This ensures that our work setting is monitored and risks are minimized.

Health Surveillance

We conduct health surveillance programmes throughout the group. These are designed by occupational health hygienists and are an additional benefit to the standard medical insurance provided to all employees.
