Dubai Holding Careers
At Dubai Holding, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We pride ourselves on our commitment to developing the skills and potential of our workforce.
Dubai Holding has an extremely diverse workforce, with 85 nationalities employed across all our subsidiary companies. We have a presence in the Middle East, the US, Europe and Asia, making us truly global.
Our principles and strategy
All companies and entities in the Dubai Holding group follow our guiding principles: excellence, integrity, speed, loyalty, innovation and valuing people. We are similarly committed to Dubai’s 2015 strategy for Human Capital Excellence. This means preparing the people of the UAE to thrive in a knowledge-driven economy, by improving qualifications and increasing motivation. We also support Emiritisation, decreasing Dubai’s dependence on foreign workers, with our number of Emirati employees averaging between 20% and 25% in early 2008.
We offer competitive compensation benefits packages in line with the different industries in which we operate.
Life-long learning
We develop talent across the Group, and recognise the importance of attracting and retaining the best people to ensure future growth for Dubai. All employees have access to appropriate local and international training. Our Employee Excellence initiative has created numerous leadership and innovation schemes, based on the European Foundation for Quality Management model.
We consider it a strategic priority to mentor future leaders across all our subsidiaries. We use our unique ‘Leadon’ future leaders programme, based on international best practice, to identify and develop those with potential.
We will always look forward to achieving the best through Dubai Holding. It is in this sense that Dubai Holding will help shape the young talent and skills for the good of tomorrow.

"LEADON Future Leaders Program"
LEADON identifies exceptional individuals with high potential and develops them in line with our Leadership Model. It provides the standard for leadership development across Dubai Holding, based on our guiding principles and global best practice. Individual companies also have their own leadership and development programmes:
- TECOM Investments: “Learning and Development Centre”
- Dubai Properties Group: “High Potential Leadership Development Program”
- Tatweer: "High Potential Employee" programme
"Legal Graduate Training Program"
Our legal division has created the first UAE corporate initiative that trains UAE nationals to qualify as solicitors in England and Wales. The three-year programme is in association with Dubai-based English law firms Clifford Chance and Trowers & Hamlins. Candidates will undertake the year-long Legal Practice Course in England, followed by the Professional Skills Course and a two-year training contract.
Wellness programme
This is the region's first corporate wellness initiative, using education and targeted interventions to help employees maintain healthier lifestyles. We have had phenomenal success in improving physical activity and performance levels, and raising awareness of health issues such as diet and stress management.
Employee recognition and innovation programmes
Individual companies have many additional initiatives, including:
- VOICES, a Jumeirah Group innovation programme that encourages employees to suggest ideas, see them implemented and receive cash rewards
- The Jumeirah Group’s “Colleague of Exceptional Value” recognises and rewards employees who act as role models to their colleagues
- Fikra, within TECOM Investments, is a forum for staff to post innovative ideas
- IJADAH is Dubai Properties Group’s (DPG) people recognition initiative. It rewards employees who truly live, communicate and reinforce DPG’s guiding principles, and work together for common goals of the business
